Michelle Galiano

Associate

Michelle performs as an Associate Architect at bba Architects. Her tasks include meeting with clients, collaborating on designs with the clients and her colleagues, drafting drawing sets from inception to completion of a project, gathering documents for permit submittal and coordinating with general contractors. She received a Bachelor’s in Architectural Studies from Judson University in Elgin, IL and a Master of Architecture from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. During her time in school she travelled to Ecuador, Italy, Greece and Germany, absorbing different styles of architecture, environment, and culture. These experiences resonated with her, from the most intricate details of a building to the delicate landscapes and people.

Michelle had the privilege to further her career in Chicago at prominent architectural and interior design firms, including bba Architects, where she gained a tremendous amount of drafting, design, and administrative experience within a short period of time. It is through these experiences that she fell in love with custom residential architecture and a desire to create individual works of art that families can call home.

While no longer living in Chicago, Michelle is a native Chicagoan traveling back as often as she can. Michelle resides in Florida where she likes to run outdoors, loves to spend time with her family, travels and enjoys learning new languages. She also likes to volunteer her time with community service programs such as Feed My Starving Children, The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and March of Dimes.
