This summer home on the shores of Lake Michigan is developed with a shingle-style character in mind. The living levels focus outward to the lake and flow onto an exterior porch and terraces. An exterior stair with integrated seating at landings descends to the beach level.
The three level home is joined with a stair tower featured on the front elevation. The master suite is accessed from one side of a sitting room "hub" at the top of the stairs. Two en-suite children's rooms are accessed on the other.
A dedicated beach access "sand mudroom" complete with showers and changing rooms, accommodate guests and provide a dedicated location for swim wear and supplies at the beach level. A guest suite, "bunk" room and media/sitting room are also located at beach level and allow the home to expand for a range of visitors.
