Glencoe Georgian

Our clients, with a fantastic North Shore lot, asked for a classic Georgian home with a few very specific features. A wrap-around interior stair over a central opening is always a fascinating geometry to resolve, especially with an elliptical transom window. The result is a lowered entry that can accommodate ten feet to the underside of the stair landing. As we have done a few Georgian homes in the past, we are always looking for a few new details to add fresh interest. We dove deep into our historical guides and added a unique dental pattern, as well as a water table brick course.
