Glencoe Georgian

Our clients, with a fantastic North Shore lot, asked for a classic Georgian home with a few very specific features. A wrap around interior stair over a central opening is always a fascinating geometry to resolve, especially with an elliptical transom window. The result is a lowered entry that can accommodate 10 feet to the underside of the stair landing. Add a Palladian window above, and we are channeling Thomas Jefferson. As we have done a few Georgian homes in the past, we are always looking for a few new details to add fresh interest. We dove deep into our historical guides, and added a unique dental pattern, as well as a water table brick course.  We've enjoyed working with these clients to assist in brick and color selections, making their new home a real personalized statement.
