Glencoe Georgian

Situated on a generous North Shore lot, this residence was conceived as a classic Georgian home. Drawing from historic precedents, the facade is defined by symmetry and proportion.  Tall double-hung windows flank the center entry portico and Palladian window. The pedimented entablature is complete with dentil mould, and the rooftop dormers frame arched windows to the attic. 

The plan centers on a sweeping stair that elegantly passes over the elliptical entry transom window. Modern family conveniences are spotted throughout the home, such as a large open kitchen, attached garage with mudroom and screened porch.
