Parisian City House

Place des Vosges provided inspiration for the facade of the house on the right and a government building in the 2nd Marais inspired the house on the left.  An elliptical stair joins the four levels of the house and provides a focal point for the living room.  The houses do not have access to the alley, so the garage is artfully concealed on the front elevation with a gentle slope down to the garage door that is recessed eight feet from the facade. A raised rear terrace extends over a basement extended to the rear of the property.  Roof decks offer a commanding view of the city skyline.
