bba ARCHITECTS on Mar 31, 2022

On Saturday, March 26th, the bba team made our way to the West Pullman neighborhood of Chicago and worked on several building tasks on the new Habitat for Humanity sponsored homes being constructed for this community.

Tasks for our members on this day were primarily painting and building fences. Together with teams from a few other organizations, we made a positive impact on the project's progress.

The Habitat site managers are really good at organizing small groups to perform tasks efficiently. They have the work well-coordinated, teach basic techniques, and enforce very strict job safety rules which are important on any construction site.

With 13 participants and 20 donors, we raised more than $6,000.00 to support the shared vision of Habitat for Humanity: a world where everyone has a decent place to live.

We look forward to continuing this annual event and raising our goal for next year, both in dollars raised and the number of team members participating.

Look for continued opportunities to support Habitat for Humanity via bba Architects. Follow up on Facebook and Instagram. You can also donate to our H4H team page until the end of April.
